Gaby Wilson is a writer and journalist based in New York. Her work has been featured in Rolling Stone, Elle, Oxford American, and SSENSE, among other places. In 2022, she was a finalist for the Asian American Writers’ Workshop Margins Fellowship.

Formerly, she was culture correspondent for VICE and HBO's Emmy and Peabody-winning documentary news program, VICE News Tonight, where she covered music, movies, art, and the internet. Prior to VICE, she was correspondent reporter for MTV News, where she interviewed artists, hosted live special events, created a profile series about women in the music industry, and spearheaded much of the outlet’s climate coverage, including a nationally broadcast town hall with former Vice President Al Gore.

Gaby grew up in five different countries and six different states, received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, and lives in Brooklyn.
